Shannon Lawson
Interventionist
My name is Shannon Lawson, and I am an Interventionist at Coats Elementary. I received my undergraduate degree in Elementary Education and Master's Degree in Reading K-12 at Meredith College in Raleigh, NC. This is my 21st year teaching in Harnett County. I spent my first 7 years teaching Kindergarten, 13 years teaching Reading Recovery, and this is my 1st year serving as an Interventionist. When I am not teaching I enjoy spending time with my family and being outdoors. I love teaching because I love watching my students learn and grow.
