Policies & Procedures

Attendance/Tardies:

It is essential to your child’s education that they are at school every day and on time. Students may enter the building at 7:45 from carpool or the bus and come straight to class or they can stop at the cafeteria for breakfast. Students are tardy if they come to school after 8:15 and they will need to be signed in by a parent. Please make sure that you send in a note if your child is absent from school. If we do not receive a note within three days of the absence, the absence will be marked as unexcused. If a student is absent, they will make up missed assignments in class. Students will not be required to make up missed assignments at home unless they are out of school for an extended period of time.

Transportation:

If your child will be going home a different way than usual, we must have a note from a parent/guardian stating the change in transportation. We can not accept a student’s word.

Snack:

Students will be given the opportunity to have a small snack during the day. If you would like your child to have a snack during snack time, please send something with them from home.

Birthday Parties:

If you would like to provide a special birthday snack for our class on your child's birthday, please let me know. All cakes, cupcakes, cookies, and other goodies must be store bought and there must be enough for all students.

Please check your child's take home folder for additional notes.
