My name is Mariana Palma . I am a Cultural Exchange teacher from Chile. I have a B.A in English .I taught ESL at Coats elementary from 2003 to 2006 , I went back to my country and I am so happy to be here for my second time. I had a great experience during my first period that I wanted to come back and bring my husband and my 2 sons with me .We love visiting different places , meeting new people and learning from the different cultures.

I always have great expectations about my students and one of my goals is to help them to become global learners.

Daily Schedule 2024/2025

8:30- 9:10 5th grade

9:15 -9:55 1st grade ESL Group

10:10- 10:50 2nd grade ESL Group

12:20 - 1:00 Kindergarten ESL group

1:00 -1:45 Fourth grade ESL group

1:45 -2:25. 3rd grade ESL Group

Google Classroom

Students will use Google Classroom on a regular basis during class. Teachers will provide students with a "Join" code or a link to join through student email accounts. For security purposes, codes are only shared with currently enrolled students. Students, please remember that you will need to log into your Google account with your school username (XXXXX@harnettstudents.org) and password (your PowerSchool #).
