3rd Grade Teacher

Welcome to third grade!

I grew up in Fuquay-Varina, North Carolina. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education from Mount Olive University and a Master of Art in Elementary Education from the University of Phoenix. I have previously taught 1st grade classroom and was a librarian at a K-12 school in a neighboring county. I am a trained Augustine Tutor, using the Orton-Gillingham approach using the Wilson Reading System. I love to share my love of reading with my students.

In addition to teaching, I enjoy traveling and learning. My favorite place to go is the mountains. I love exploring the natural word. I love plants and animals. In my free time I enjoy reading, needlework, and spending time with my family.
