I began my teaching career at Coats Elementary in 2015. This is my tenth year teaching! I am originally from Jacksonville, in Eastern North Carolina. I have lived all over the world, including Ankara, Turkey! My passion for teaching began as a young child, and I am overjoyed that my dream became a reality. I look forward to motivating students and helping them reach their full potential!

Late Work
Missing/returned work is visible in the classroom and on Google Classroom.
Graded Work Folders
Blue graded work folders will be sent home each month. A paper will be placed at the top of the packet for a parent signature. Assignments graded through Google Classroom can be viewed through the students email, or Google Classroom. Please return the signed packet the next school day.
Conduct & Rewards
Each week there will be a small conduct sheet that the students will tape into their binders. A student can receive a strike, or an "x", in a box if the student broke a rule. Conducts will be taped into agendas every Friday to be signed by a parent/guardian.
Students will earn "Poms" for positive behavior. Students will be given opportunities to spend their poms at the class store depending on their conduct sheet.
