I am entering my 8th year in education. I spent the first 6 years of my career fulfilling my life-long dream of being a classroom teacher. I have now transitioned into a role where I am able to assist teachers in effectively integrating technology into their teaching practices to enhance student learning.

I have been married since October 2018. My husband and I live in Coats with our son Teagan and dog Lily. We enjoy being outside and spending time with our family and friends.

This is my 1st year working at Coats-Erwin! I spent 3 years in the media center at Coats Elementary School.

I transitioned into the Media Center in January of the 2024-2025 school year!

I got my start in the library world in 2017 when I began working at Dunn Public Library. This helped me discover that I was passionate about helping children develop a love for reading.

When I am not in the media center, I enjoy spending time with my husband and love going to see the Carolina Hurricanes play!

I am looking forward to working with your children in the media center and anticipate an exciting year.
