Meet the Teacher
Ms. Margaret Coxum McNeill
I am a veteran of the teaching profession. I have been a Dunn Greenwave for 20 years. I have served as Dunn Middle School's Teacher of the Year, Harnett County School's Teacher of the Year and North Carolina North Central Regional Teacher of the Year. I was a State Finalist for North Carolina Teacher of the Year (2016). I have been featured as WRAL's Teacher of the Week. I am a graduate of Fayetteville State University. I have a Bachelor of Science in Middle Grades Education with a concentration in Language Arts and a Minor in Special Education. I have two sons, Reginald, who is a Graduate student at East Carolina University and Mylek, a graduate of The University of North Carolina at Charlotte. I am an active member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated. I am also a licensed ZUMBA instructor.
