Meet the Teacher

Mrs. Lizann Snyder

Mrs. Lizann Snyder

I spent many years serving Harnett County Schools as a parent volunteer, teacher assistant and substitute teacher before teaching 6th grade at Dunn Middle School. This is my 13th year at DMS. I have taught ELA and Social Studies for the past few years. This year I am teaching ELA for 6th grade.

My husband and I have been married for 40 years, most of that time living in Dunn, raising our 4 sons that have now grown and flown.

I was honored to be the 2023 - 2024 DMS Teacher of the Year
