About Me:

Hello and Welcome to Kindergarten! My name is Courtney Orndorff. I am originally from Maryland and came to North Carolina to attend East Carolina University to pursue teaching. I received a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education with a concentration in English. I am currently hold my National Board Certification.

When I am not teaching, you can find me having fun outdoors, cooking, or reading a book cuddled next to my favorite furry friends, Tallulah and Tyrion. I love spending time with family and friends too!

My teaching philosophy has always been fueled by the belief that effective teaching takes place in a positive learning environment. Students can learn the most and show growth in a place where they feel comfortable to make mistakes, learn from them, and communicate their needs. Students will always be encouraged to collaborate, create, and celebrate successes inside of my classroom. I can’t wait to be your teacher!

Hi, my name is Kebrina Barnes. I am originally from North Carolina. I have 3 children. I have my Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education. I have worked with children for over 25 years. I enjoy shopping, reading, and spending time with my family and friends.
