About Ms. Guin
I have been a teacher assistant at Gentry and now EES for 18 years. I am from Erwin and I live on my family's farm. I live with my 2 dogs, giant Maxwell and tiny Layla, and my cat, Junie B and Mr. Dean. I have 2 grown sons. Dalton is a Marine veteran and a college student at UNCG School of Music. Liam is a Marine Corps musician in the 2nd MAW Band at MCAS Cherry Point, NC. My favorite thing is when we are all together. Reading at Home
There are lots of free websites where your child can read books online or using an app on an iPad. Some of these websites have famous actors and actresses reading the books, and others have books for the students to read. Either way, your child is being exposed to literature. Here are some of my favorites!
When you're done, scroll down to the bottom for a link to comprehension questions.
