Welcome to Mrs. Nelson's first grade class! This is my 17th year teaching with 16 years in first grade. First grade has my heart! I enjoy working with students each day and encouraging them to do their best. Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns.

  • Book bag without wheels

  • A change of clothes (including undergarments and socks) in a large ziplock bag with your child’s name. (This is in case of accidents, spills, sickness, etc.)

  • 3 Marble Composition Notebooks (for Reading, Math, and Centers)

  • 1 Pack of 24 count crayons

  • 6 Glue Sticks

  • 2 Packs of yellow #2 Pencils (no mechanical pencils)

  • 2 Block Erasers

  • Dry Erase Markers

  • 1 Pack of Clorox Wipes

  • 1 Box of Tissues

  • 1 Box of Ziploc Bags

    • Girls = Gallon

    • Boys = Quart
