Meet the Teacher
Mrs. Kathleen Rivers

I taught 1st-grade for 16 years before I became an Art teacher. I got my Art Certification and taught Art (K-2) for 11 years. I 've learned so much!
Recently I decided to return to 1st-grade. I enjoy teaching children to become strong readers! It is the MOST REWARDING experience!
I grew up in South Florida and attended the University of Florida (GO GATORS!). My husband, Carlos, and son Carter are the rocks in my life. Both are loving, caring, and incredibly supportive of their wife/mom.
