Hello, and welcome to my class!  This will be my 22nd year teaching at Harnett Central High School, and I love teaching here!  Throughout my time at Central, I have taught World History, Civics and Economics, Honors Civics and Economics, U.S. History, Honors U.S. History, American History I, Honors American History I, American History II, Honors American History II, Sociology, Honors Economics and Personal Finance, and Advanced Placement U.S. Government and Politics. 

In my spare time, I mostly enjoy being a mom and community volunteer.  We enjoy sports, particularly running and soccer, and we enjoy hiking as a family.  We also enjoy Girl Scouts, as well as watching Carolina basketball (GO HEELS), shopping, working on arts and crafts, exercise and running, and hanging out with my friends and family.

In addition to teaching at Harnett Central, I also coach Men's and Women's Cross Country and winter/spring track, coordinate our Toys for Tots efforts, and am one of the advisers for the Student Government Association!  If you are interested, please come by to see me!
