JROTC Special Teams

Drill & Ceremony Team

Cadets are responsible for learning and efficiently performing various drill routines to standard. Drill formations include the following:

  • Squad Regulation Armed and Unarmed

  • Platoon Regulation Armed and Unarmed

  • Squad Exhibition Armed and Unarmed

  • Platoon Exhibition Armed and Unarmed

  • Individual Regulation Armed and Unarmed

Raider Team

Cadets are responsible for learning and efficiently performing different activities utilizing physical and technical skills. Raider events include the following:

  • Physical training test (1-mile run, 1-minute push-ups, 1-minute situps)

  • 5-kilometer team run

  • Rope Bridge

  • Logistics Course

  • Litter Run

  • Additional events as required

Marksmanship Team

Cadets are responsible for learning and efficiently performing air rifle qualifications in the following positions:

  • Prone firing

  • Standing firing

  • Kneeling firing

Color Guard Team

Cadets are responsible for learning and perfecting the proper routine to present and display the Nation's colors in the following stages. This team is expected to participate in numerous community events

  • Uncasing the colors

  • Reporting In

  • Presentation of the Colors

  • Reporting out

  • Re-casing the Colors

  • Squad Regulation Armed and Unarmed
