Salutations!

I am Mr. Locke, and I teach 6th and 7th grade Social Studies. Having previously had a career as an Archaeologist, I'm passionate about history, and would like to engender some of that in my students. While high standards are certainly important, interest in the subject is equally so in my opinion, so I try my best to allow for discussion and critical thinking processes to flourish when on topic. I also believe that Social Studies is a vital subject in the process of our children turning into adults and good citizens of our nation.
