Welcome!! This is my 11th year in the classroom and I am more excited than ever to be starting my 9th year at HCMS!! I believe that learning is a lifelong process.  We are never too old (or too young) to learn something new.  I am a North Carolina native and a mom to 2 children -- Maddox who is 9 and Madeline who is 6.  Life keeps me busy between working and being a parent.  However, when you love what you do, it never feels like work.  Teaching is my passion and I love sharing (and obtaining) knowledge of a wide variety of subjects.
