Hi! My name is Kristin Mills. This is my 17th year of teaching and my 7th year at Harnett Central Middle School. I am a Health & PE teacher for HCMS. I am also one of the cheer coaches. I assist as one of the yearbook advisor, as well.
I graduated from Campbell University in 2008 with a Bachelor’s degree in Educational Studies. I then earned my Master’s Degree in English as a Second Language in 2015 at Western Governor’s University. I am a National Board Certified teacher with a concentration in English as a New Language. Also, I graduated with a second Master's Degree in Instructional Technology at the University of Chapel Hill at Wilmington in 2020.
When I'm not teaching, I am spending time with my family. I am married (Bobby) and have two children (Levi and Hadley). We also have two dogs (Skeeter and Dixie) and a cat (Sebastian). We love taking trips to the mountains, beach, and just enjoying the outdoors! Coffee is my go-to everyday :) I just love it! I also love horseback riding-- it always puts me in a good mood :)
