Mrs. Susan Morrow is a native of Minnetonka, Minnesota and has lived in Harnett County for over twenty-five years. Mrs. Morrow began teaching at Harnett Central Middle School in 2001. She is married to Dr. Phillip Morrow, the Director of Choral Activities at Campbell University in Buies Creek, NC. Mrs. Morrow began her music studies in voice at the University of Iowa and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Voice Performance from Campbell University in 2000. She also holds a Master's of Education in Elementary Education with Gifted Certification from Campbell University (2007). She received her National Board Certification in Early Adolescence through Young Adulthood in Music in 2009 and renewed in 2019. Mrs. Morrow is very active in choral music around the state of North Carolina and is an active member of the National Association for Music Education, North Carolina Music Educators Association. She and her husband, Dr. Morrow are the Co-Ministers of Music at Memorial Baptist Church in Buies Creek, North Carolina. They are also the founders of C4 (Campbell Children's Choir Camp). They have three children; Chris, Hilary and Isabel. Pepper is the family dog. This year will be Mrs. Morrow’s final year teaching. She is looking forward to a great year 2025-2026!

Classes Offered by Mrs. Morrow

6th Grade Chorus - Non-auditioned group of singers learn music culminating in a concert at the end of each semester.

7th Grade Honor Chorus - Auditioned group of singers learn music culminating in a concert. The group learns 3-part music, sight-reading and choral techniques. This is a year-long class.

8th Grade Honor Chorus - Auditioned group of singers learn music culminating in a concert. The group learns 3-part and 4-part music, sight-reading and choral techniques. This is a year-long class

7th & 8th Grade Piano Lessons - Students learn to play the piano in a group setting. Pianos for the class were attained through a grant with Donor’s Choose. This is a semester long class.
