Hello to all!
My name is Patsy Hodges Cagle, and this marks my 14th year as the Music I teacher here at HES. I have been involved with Harnett County Schools for 42 years, first as a student myself, then as a parent of students, and now as a teacher. I will celebrate 37 years of marriage to my wonderful husband, Jeff, on October 7th. We have 3 awesome children, all of whom are now adults. Our oldest, Isaac, is 35, married, and lives in Raleigh. He works with a mentally and physically-challenged adult, as well as with Amazon. Ethan is next in age at 34. He lives in Nashville, Tennessee and works with the University of Tennessee/Knoxville. Bridgette is our baby at 31. She is married, works as a Nanny to 3 beautiful children, and also lives in Nashville, Tennessee. In addition, we have 3 fur babies (dogs), a plethora of chickens, and 3 turkeys! I love animals and, if you are one of our car riders, you'll see I love to give treats to all the fur babies that come through the line.
I'm excited for this year of music with our students! Music is the universal language and can speak to us like nothing else can. It can also help us express ourselves when words may fail. It allows us to travel to lands we may never step foot on and experience worlds we can only see with our imaginations. Music teaches us so many things and takes us to so many places, and I love sharing the adventure with our Highland Pirates!
