Hello, I'm Ms.Tedder .

This is my 8th year teaching here at Highland Elementary School.This is my third year teaching second grade. I worked as an assistant teacher  for 5 years at this school in the EC classroom. I also drove a school bus for 7 years.  I'm a mother of two young men. My oldest son is in the Marines and my youngest son graduated from Overhills High School two years ago.I have two grandchildren. I had a dog for 13 years and recently passed away in February of last year. I love teaching and watching their minds shape and mold into wonderful little readers, writers, mathematicians.

I graduated with my Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education in 2020 from the University of Mount Olive. However, I'm not done yet. I'm currently taking classes and learning new things.

I was born in Fayetteville, North Carolina but moved to Pensacola, Florida, where I was raised. 

In a nutshell, I have always loved kids and teaching has been my dream since I was a child. I love basketball, music, and shopping.My goal is to always create a fun and safe learning environment for your children and get them ready for the third grade!
