Meet the Teacher
Miss Sarah Wilson
I am extremely excited to begin my 9th year in education and all my years have been at Highland Elementary; 1 year in second grade, 6 years in Kindergarten, and 2 years in first grade. Lower grades are my favorite place to be because of my passion to teach children foundational skills. I was born in southern Virginia but have lived in Eastern and the Outer Banks of North Carolina for most of my life. I loved growing up on the beach and I also have a place in my heart for the mountains, especially in the Fall.
I look forward to this school year and everything that will be accomplished!

8:00 to 8:35: Morning Rountine
8:35 to 9:35: Literacy Block
9:35 to 10:10: Literacy Centers
10:10 - 10:40: Excel
10:45 to 11:20: Lunch
11:25 to 11:45: Excel II
11:50 - 12:35: Specials.
12:35 to 1:10: Social Studies/Science
1:10 - 1:40: Recess
1:40 - 2:30: Math
2:35 to End: Snack, Dismissal.
