Meet the Teacher
Mrs. Jurekovic
My name is Courtney Jurekovic and this will be the start of my 4rd year teaching middle school. I have also worked as a SSN Paraprofessional in a kindergarten classroom and worked as a reading coach for three years for a Kumon learning center. My bachelors degree specializes in English Eduction.
I am a breast cancer survivor and military spouse. We have just relocated to Harnett County, so we are still learning the area and all the little gems that it has to offer. My husband and I have been married for 12 years and we have to young children who are attending the Highland Elementary School just down the road. I am looking forward to the upcoming school year and meeting all the new fresh 7th Grade student body.

Google Classroom
During the first week of school, I will be sharing a classroom code with my students that will allow access to my Google Classroom. I always encourage students to check Google Classroom if they have been absent because it is the best place to look for missing assignments. I know that we do not practice taking home the Chromebooks, but if your student has a celluar device, then they can download the app to their phone and access the work there. Students can always use WIN time to make-up missing assignments via Google Classroom.
