Meet the Teacher
Brad Peffly

Hello! My name is Brad Peffly and I have been teaching in Harnett County for 19.5 years. My first five years were at Benhaven Elementary as a 4th grade teacher. Then I served as a 4th and 5th grade teacher at South Harnett Elementary for 4 years. I have been at Highland Middle School since the opening. I teach 7th grade Math, and also serve as the Athletic Director, Head Football Coach, Head Boys Basketball Coach, and head Golf Coach.
I am married to my better half, Stephanie Peffly, and we have been married for 18 years. We have four children, James(26), Addison(15), Braxton(12), and Carson(9). We also have two granddaughters, Liliana Rose(5) and Avalyn Marie(2). Life is busy/productive, but great!
I am proud to call myself a Viking and I love the opportunity to serve our community through our school and athletics!
