Meet the Teacher
William Smith
As an enthusiastic educator, I am deeply passionate about instilling a love for reading, writing, grammar, and all facets of language in my students. I began my journey with Harnett County Schools in 2021 after graduating from Fayetteville State University in 2011 with a Bachelor of Arts in Communications. My wife, a dedicated first-grade teacher in Cumberland County, shares my commitment to education.
Growing up with a father who was a long-tenured college professor, I learned early on the value of a quality education. As your child's teacher, I am dedicated to providing them with the essential tools and knowledge they need to thrive both inside and outside the classroom.
Outside of my professional life, I have a deep appreciation for Star Trek, science fiction, comics, and gaming—interests that I enjoy exploring in my free time.
