Meet the Teacher
LIYA YANG

Hello, my name is Liya Yang. I was born in Quito-Ecuador and I come from a culturally diverse family. My father is from Taiwan and my mother is from Ecuador. I have a younger brother who is also an educator. I am married and have two wonderful children.
I love Asian food, especially dumplings. I really like to travel and explore museums, restaurants, and amusement parks. In my free time I like to listen to music.
I have been an English elementary teacher in Ecuador for 6 years and now this is my third year as a Spanish teacher in the United States.
I am passionate about teaching young learners and I am sure we will learn a lot from each other.
My magic ingredient is FUN and LOVE.
