Meet the Teacher
Mr. James Cullen
I am excited to be teaching Physical Education at Johnsonville Elementary School. My goal is to offer our students new and exciting ways to enhance their physical fitness through sports, games and other activities. I have a strong sports coaching background having coached several sports including basketball all the way up to the varsity high school level. I loved sports in high school having played basketball, tennis and ran cross country. Following high school, I graduated from NC State University with a BA in Communications. My wife, Megan, and I have been married for 20 years and we live in Coats. We have three wonderful boys Jakson (18 years old), Max (12) and Graysen (8). I look forward to working with your child this year in PE.

Google Classroom is utilized for classroom instruction, communication, and collaboration. Students use their harnettstudents.org accounts to have access to assignments, resources, and content. Using the internet, students have access anytime and anywhere to posted assignments, due dates, as well as supporting curriculum resources.
