Meet the Teacher
Mrs. Marjorie S. Curilan
Hi! My name is Marjorie S. Curilan. I am an International teacher from the Philippines, and I am thrilled to be joining Johnsonville Elementary School. This is my first International teaching position, and I am very excited to experience it here at JES. I graduated from the University of San Jose Recoletos, one of the largest and oldest universities in our city, with a concentration in Preschool education and a Master’s degree in Special Education. I have been teaching for 14 years in the Philippines. I will be a kindergarten teacher at Johnsonville Elementary School, and I am looking forward to contributing to the growth and development of our young learners. I can't wait for all the fun and learning we'll have this year!

Google classroom is utilized for classroom instruction, communication, and collaboration. Students use their harnettstudents.org accounts to have access to assignments, resources, and content. using the internet, students have access anytime and anywhere to posted assignments, due dates, as well as supporting curriculum resources. All students should have access to Google Classroom.
