Hello and welcome to the 2024-2025 school year!  My name is Colleen Graham and I am very excited to be a part of the Johnsonville School family and our new Interventionist Team.  I began teaching in 1989 so this is my 36th year of teaching and each year has been a blessing in my life.  I taught in a special education classroom for 8 years, and then made the switch to regular education, mainly in grades 3, 4, and 5 in Hoke and Robeson counties for 20 years.   I took on a new challenge and for 6 years I served the students and teachers of Harnett County Schools as an Instructional Coach, where I was also trained in Reading Recovery. When given the opportunity to come back to Johnsonville AND become a Reading Specialist, I was overjoyed! This is my 7th year at JES and I'm now in a new role as an Interventionist.

I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary and Special Education from the University of Delaware and my Master's Degree in Special Education from Fayetteville State University.   My wonderful husband and I have been married for 35 years and we have 4 amazing sons who fill our hearts with pride and joy.
