Mrs. Lois Lowery

Welcome to Second Grade!  I am Mrs. Lois Lowery, and I am married and have three grown children, six grandsons, and two granddaughters.

I grew up in rural Northeast Ohio, near the Pennsylvania border.  I moved to North Carolina when I went to college, and I have stayed here ever since.

I received my Bachelor of Education (K-9) from Piedmont International College in Winston-Salem, and my Master's of Education in Social Studies from UNC-G in Greensboro.

Since my father was from Tennessee, I knew I wanted to live in the South!  North Carolina is a wonderful place to live and raise children.

I have worked in other schools and counties in NC.  I enjoy working in Harnett County where I have many friends and family.  I live in the middle of Moore County.

This is my thirty-first year of teaching! I have taught every grade level from 1st through 7th!  This will be my fourteenth year teaching primary grades at Johnsonville Elementary School.

I am looking forward to a wonderful year of working with your children.
