Mrs. Christina Nye

I have the privilege of being one of the school counselors at LSES for my fifth year with Harnett County Schools. After 38 years in Gallup, NM working with GMCS students in various capacities, my husband and I relocated to Angier, NC. We enjoy spending time with our 3 children and their families (10 grandchildren) who live in the surrounding communities.
The 2025-2026 school year will focus on promoting the character traits of trustworthiness, respect, responsibility, fairness, empathy, cooperation, courage, perseverance, gratitude, and kindness. We hope to build self-confidence in your student so they will be lifelong learners using their abilities to the fullest to achieve positive and worthwhile life experiences. I look forward to working with our LSES staff, students and their families.

Our school counselors do classroom presentations on building social and emotional skills to promote academic success. Positive character trait themes (such as courage, resiliency, trustworthiness, respect, responsibility, fairness, caring and citizenship) are addressed throughout the school year with students individually and in small group settings. In conjunction with LSES teachers and staff, we try to foster and build a caring and welcoming community .
