About Ms. Ortiz
I am from Colombia, and I have worked for around seven years as a teacher. I have taught from first to fourth grade. I have always seen education as the most important and useful tool to transform a society, which is why I love and feel very proud of my profession.
I studied in Santander, Colombia, at Universidad Industrial de Santander to get my bachelor of arts in English teaching (Licenciada en Inglés). Also, I studied to be a Normalista Superior, which is two years after high school, to work as a primary childhood teacher in Colombia.
As well as teaching, I like to spend time with my family, be in nature, the animals, watch movies, and read novels.
