My name is Kim Herzog, and I teach 4th grade at Northwest Harnett Elementary. I live in Bunnlevel with my husband, daughter and son. We have a dog Charlie, two cats Alpha and Juliet and a bearded dragon Echo who live with us. I am originally from Central New York. I attended Russell Sage College in Troy, NY and graduated with my Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education. I went on to receive a Master’s Degree in Literacy Education from State University of New York at Cortland, New York. I spent a year and a half teaching Pre-K for the Army’s Strong Beginnings program at Fort Drum and at Fort Bragg. I began the 2014-2015 school year teaching 4th grade for Hoke County Schools until 2017 when I accepted a position to teach 4th grade at Erwin Elementary. I began teaching 4th grade at LaFayette Elementary in 2019.
