Dear Overhills Elementary School Community,

I am honored to serve as the principal of Overhills Elementary School. As a passionate advocate for education, I am dedicated to supporting our students, staff, and families in every way possible. My mission is to foster a positive and safe learning environment where every child receives a high-quality education and the opportunity to thrive.

I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Middle Grades Education and a Master’s degree in School Administration, both from Fayetteville State University. It is a privilege to lead and grow alongside such a committed and caring school community.

It is my pleasure to serve Overhills Elementary School as an Assistant Principal. My husband and I reside in Harnett County with our two boys. I joined the Overhills team in 2019 and continue to fall more in love with the community each year. My hope is that my love for our students is evident in the actions that I take as an administrator. I am committed to maintaining a joyful environment that is conducive to the learning for our students and staff.

Hello Overhills Elementary Families! My name is Debi Erickson and I am so excited to be a part of the OES Lynx family and to serve as an Assistant Principal. I have been with Harnett County Schools since 1997 and spent my entire career at Anderson Creek Primary School before becoming an official Lynx for the 2021-2022 school year.

Education is my passion and I truly believe that every student has the ability and potential to learn. Our children are the leaders of tomorrow and providing them with a quality education in a safe and nurturing learning environment is our top priority.

I am so fortunate to be part of the Overhills Elementary Lynx family and I am truly looking forward to working with the students, parents, teachers, and community in my new role as an Assistant Principal.
