Overhills Elementary School

Hi everyone. My name is Shannon Clark and this is my 2nd year teaching ECS here at OES!  I have a degree in Sociology and a minor in Social Work.  I believe that school is a learning opportunity for both students and teachers. I feel that in order to create a classroom that focuses on learning, we must first create an environment where students are comfortable with being who they are, and where they feel free to speak their minds and express who they are.  My goal is to promote learning through positive interactions, and with the love and support of parents,  staff and the community.  I want to use the old school mentality of "It's takes a village!"  I feel that if we all work together, we can provide the very best learning experience for each and every student!
