Welcome to O.E.S. This is my 4th year at Overhills Elem. My passion is to enrich students to love learning. I am hispanic and bilingual in Spanish. I grew up in Los Angeles, CA. In 2006 I made the decision to move NC for an opportunity to better myself. This was evident when I graduated with a B.A in Liberal Studies from Peace College and a B.A. in Elementary Education at NCCU. In addition to my education, the years of experience I gain as a T.A in a Magnet School in Raleigh, and Preschool classroom at Head Start prepared me to better understand the role education plays in a child and its academic expectations. 

Some of the things I enjoy doing in my free time is shopping. I also enjoy walking trails. When I get home I usually play with my cat Azalea and spoil her with treats. What I frequently do on the weekends is discover new places to eat and hang out with friends. 

I believe that everyone has the ability to achieve greatness and deserves to be given every opportunity to succeed.
