Hello! My name is Tina Smith and I am a third grade teacher here at OES. I graduated from Campbell University in 1992 with a BS degree in Elementary Education K-6. I taught fourth grade at Anderson Creek for four years, third grade for two years at South Harnett, third grade at Highland for thirteen years ( where I was honored to be named Teacher of the Year  for the 2008-09 and 2012-13 school years) and this will be my eighth year at OES! I am now on my 27th  year of teaching! God has given me an amazing husband and two wonderful kids who are all grown up now. My daughter has blessed me with two sweet grandbabies; Ellie James who is 5 and Brodie who is 17 months old. I love to spend time with my family and friends, attending Impact Church (where my husband is the Pastor), relaxing on my front porch swing and going to the beach whenever I can! I love teaching third grade as you can tell! We chant, cheer, sing, dance, laugh and of course have a great time learning so much throughout the year! I am really looking forward to an amazing new school year!
