Meet the Teacher

Ms. Simone Bailey

"Every child can learn, every child must learn."
Ms. Simone Bailey

About me:
Hello, my name is Simone Bailey, and I am from the tropical island of Jamaica. Currently I teach Biology at the Overhills High School.

Our syllabus is designed to help students become more aware of Scientific theories, laws, and principles. The course of study facilitates interactive and engaging activities which help to build scientific knowledge.

I love Science and want to pass on my love to my students, with the hope that they will use the knowledge gained to become critical thinkers, who will find solutions to the challenges of the world.

When I am not actively engaged in teaching and learning you will find me by the seaside fishing or curled on a couch watching fantasy movies or reading a book.
