I am a Language Arts Educator and Special Education Teacher with over 20 years of experience. I graduated from Bradley University, Peoria, Illinois.

I have been with Harnett County now for over six years after teaching in Broward County, Florida, and Peoria, Illinois. I have taught College Reading, Strategic Reading, Language Arts grades 9-12, English as a Second Language, and  I am currently an Exceptional Child in grades 9-12. I am certified in Exceptional Children grades K-12, Elementary Education, Middle School Language Arts, and High School English 9-12.

Teaching is my passion after a long and rewarding career in the United States Air Force. I bring to the classroom my leadership skills, education, and military training in medical administration. These I can inculcate into 21st-century learning. I am a life-long learner who embraces education. My goal is to make a difference in the world one child at a time.
