Meet the Teacher

Ms. Eva Bush

About Me
Hello!
I am Ms. Bush, and I am thrilled to be part of the Overhills community. With a passion for education and a commitment to fostering a supportive learning environment, I strive to inspire my students to reach their full potential.
I hold two bachelor degrees in Science from Johnson C. Smith University, and I have been teaching science for 4 years (not all in high school). My teaching philosophy centers around engaging students through hands-on activities and real-world applications, making learning both fun and relevant.
Outside the classroom, I enjoy going to church, reading, hiking and napping.
I believe in the importance of building strong relationships and open communication, and I’m always here to support my students on their educational journey.
I look forward to a wonderful year ahead filled with growth, discovery, and success!
Fun Facts: I am a twin, I am a Chiefs fan, I grew up in foster care, I am the only girl out of nine biological brothers (eewww)
The ability to learn is a gift, even if pain is our teacher.
