WELCOME BACK!!

You have MADE IT Class of 2025! Your FINAL YEAR of High School! The faculty & staff of OHS look forward to working with you as you complete your last requirements to EARN your high school diploma. OHS Senior information will be shared here and in the Senior Classroom. Make sure you review the calendar at the bottom of this page for important dates! This is especially important for early graduates since you will be completing it in December.

Important Information

Graduation Date: May 28th, 9:30 AM, John W. Pope, Jr. Convocation Center. Tickets will be issued to students a couple of weeks before graduation. The number of tickets will be determined based on the number of graduates (usually around 7-8)

Cap and Gown: Must be ordered through Jostens

Senior Dues: $40 (should be paid online through SchoolCash-link can be found under Parent's tab)

Diploma Name Form: This should be completed and turned in at the front office by October 4th. If you did not receive a form, contact cmorris@harnett.k12.nc.us

Upcoming Senior Events

Thursday, May 8, 2025- Senior games 3rd and 4th period on the practice soccer field. Hot dogs and hamburgers will be served along with games and music.

Friday, May 23, 2025- Mandatory Graduation Practice 7:30 am in the OHS main gym. Biscuits will be served.

Wednesday, May 28, 2025- Graduation at Campbell University, graduates need to be there at 8:00 am, the ceremony starts at 9:30 am.

Early Graduates

IS THERE A CEREMONY FOR EARLY GRADUATES? Yes. Winter Graduation Ceremony Thursday, January 9, 2025, at Triton High School time TBD. Contact cmorris@harnett.k12.nc.us ASAP if you plan to participate. You must have your cap and gown purchased.

This will be a great opportunity for students and families of Early Graduates to participate in a ceremony outside of our traditional ceremonies hosted in May,

WHO CAN PARTICIPATE? Any student who completes their graduation requirements during the first semester of the 24-25 school year

DO STUDENTS HAVE A CHOICE OF WHICH CEREMONY THEY PARTICIPATE IN? Yes.  If a student does not want to participate in the mid-year ceremony, they can opt out and participate in our May graduation ceremony. Students can not participate in both ceremonies.
