2025-2026 School Improvement Plan Goals:
All students will meet or exceed their math growth targets and increase in cohort proficiency targets each year. Specifically, in 2025-2026, 41.9% of OMS students will be proficient as indicated by the NC Math EOG Grades 6-8 Assessments. (A2.04, A4.01, A4.16, B1.03, B3.03, C2.01, & E1.06)
All students will meet or exceed their ELA/reading growth targets and increase in cohort proficiency targets each year. Specifically, in 2025-2026, 53.7% of OMS students will be proficient as indicated by the NC English Language Arts/Reading EOG Grades 6-8 Assessments. (A2.04, A4.01, A4.16, B1.03, B3.03, C2.01, & E1.06)
All students will meet or exceed their science growth targets and increase in cohort proficiency targets each year. Specifically, in 2025-2026, 77.7% of OMS students will be proficient as indicated by the NC Science EOG Science 8 Assessment. (A2.04, A4.01, A4.16, B1.03, B3.03, C2.01, & E1.06)
Each student will develop the social, emotional, and character competencies that will promote his/her learning. (A1.07, A2.04, A4.01, A4.06, & E1.06)
