Mr. Charles Manherz
In 2019, after 27 long years in the the Army I decided to try my hand at substitute teaching for Elementary schools! When Covid hit, I spent my days ensuring my own elementary and middle school kids were taken care of. Last year I decided to make a move to the High School level and was hired as the Job Coach for Western Harnett HS. That was truly an amazing experience and a hard position to leave. I always felt a calling to teach and after much persuasion by my loving and supportive wife and kids I decided to make the move. Growing up in the Chicago area and attending several different high schools myself for various reasons, I knew STAR was the right fit for me!
