Hello I am Lucinda Blue and I am a life long learner. Teaching is such an awesome profession! I see it as an exchange of knowledge between the teacher and the students.  I have found that fourth graders are eager to participate in hands on activities, lively discussions and critical thinking.  This is my sixth year at South Harnett Elementary. I am a Fayetteville State University Bronco. I have worked in Cumberland and Harnett County  in various educational positions for over twelve years.

North Carolina has always been my home but I was fortunate enough to have worked in the Middle East for several years. I saw a lot of sights and did a lot of things but there is nothing like home. My husband and I have three kids and three grandkids. I love to spend time at the beach, at home, at church or seeing things I've never seen before. I also love to read, fish and garden. I look forward to a fabulous year of teaching and learning.
