Meet the Teacher
Mrs. Caitlin Butts
Hello! My name is Caitlin Butts and I am a fifth grade teacher here at South Harnett Elementary School. I am originally from New Jersey and graduated from East Carolina University in 2009. I taught for three years in Pitt County before now teaching here in Harnett County. My husband is active duty military, and we have a daughter who also attends South Harnett. We love to go kayaking and take trips to the beach as a family. I love to read many different genres of books and my favorite subject is history. My goal as a teacher is to create a nurturing and safe environment for students to explore and learn academically, socially, and emotionally.
