MAJ(R) Baggett has a Bachelor of

Science in Environmental Engineering from Louisiana State

University, and a Master of Military Art and Science from the U.S.

Army Command and General Staff College.

Major (Retired) Brian Baggett is the Senior Army Instructor at Triton High School. He served over 21 years on Active Duty in the U.S. Army. MAJ(R) Baggett served his initial six years in the Army as a Junior Enlisted Soldier and Non-Commissioned Officer, specializing in Preventive Medicine and Health Physics. MAJ(R) Baggett later commissioned as a Medical Service Corps Officer, specializing in Health Services Plans, Operations, Intelligence, Training, and Security.

MAJ(R) Baggett served as an Army Officer for 15 years in a variety of leadership positions, to include:

  • Platoon Leader

  • Brigade Medical Operations Officer

  • Company Commander

  • Observer-Coach-Trainer

  • Basic Officer Leader Course Instructor

  • Brigade Chief of Operations

  • Medical Task Force Executive Officer

  • Brigade Chief of Plans

MAJ(R) Baggett’s duty stations include:

  • Savannah, Georgia

  • Washington, DC;

  • Fayetteville, North Carolina

  • Hohenfels, Germany

  • San Antonio, Texas

  • Leavenworth, Kansas

MAJ(R) Baggett’s deployment assignments five times in support of the nation, include:

  • the Balkans

  • Afghanistan

  • Iraq
