Career Development Coordinator
I have served as an educator and support staff for 10 years here at Triton High School and 3 years at the middle school level. I have taught Intro to Business, Careers, Intro to Technology, Principles of Technology I & II. I am also the advisor for the National Technology Honors Society and Mock Trial Team. I sit on the School Improvement Team, the Student Assistance Team and the Circle of Quality Team for Triton at the county level.

I am excited about the opportunity to guide students in their career interest through job shadowing, industry tours, career counseling and informing students about the obtainable job skills through Career and Technical Education courses.

The Fantasy, The Ideal, and The Reality of Career Exploration

Time to Explore

STEP ONE
Get to KNOW yourself by taking personality assessments to gauge interests, strengths, aptitudes, and values!

STEP TWO
Explore career opportunities that appear to be a good fit based on the results of the assessments in Step ONE!

STEP THREE
Evaluate and decide which career is the best fit for you! Give serious thought as to HOW you will prepare for this chosen career.

STEP FOUR
Create an action plan to serve as a guide to reaching your ultimate career goal.

After you graduate high school, you should have definitive plans to either be ENLISTED in the military, EMPLOYED to start your career, or ENROLLED in a post-secondary institution. All of which could help you reach your career goals.
