I have been working in the education setting for ten years. I am from Harnett County and live in the Triton District. I received my undergraduate degree in Communication Studies from UNC Greensboro in 2004. After working and owning my own business for fifteen years, I changed my career to work in the community college setting. I then earned my Masters in Career Counseling from NC Central University in 2019 and continued my education to earn a Certificate in School Counseling from UNC Charlotte in 2022.

I have been a school counselor with Harnett County Schools since 2021 at Highland Middle School. I am excited to be in the Hawk’s Nest this year! I am assigned to work with students whose last names begin with letters E-L.
