Meet the Teacher

Ms. Vanda Kay B. Bicar

_

I am a Cultural Exchange Teacher from the Philippines.

I have been teaching Mathematics for 11 years now. I recently completed my Doctoral degree in Mathematics Education with my dissertation focusing on the use of Structural Equation Modeling.

I have been participating in writing researches and is one of the authors for the published title, "Adapted Bass Diffusion Model for the Spread of COVID-19 in the Philippines: Implications to Interventions and Flattening the Curve" and the main author of the researches entitled, "Cluster Characterization of Countries' Performance in Mathematics Olympiad: Input to Mathematics Education" and "Fourth Industrial Revolution Skills as Influential Factors of Mathematics Performance". I hope to have more contributions in the vast Bank of Knowledge.

I love that in teaching, everyday is an opportunity to grow and learn new things. Slowly, one day at a time.

"A child can teach an adult three things: to be happy for no reason, to always be busy with something, and to know how to demand with all his might that which he desires." -Coelho
