Instructional Coach

The 2025-2026 school year marks Ms. Ferguson's 13th year working for Harnett County Schools and her 16th year overall in education. 

Ms. Ferguson was formerly an ELA teacher, but has served as Western's instructional coach since January 2020. In her current role, she provides teachers with assistance and resources in the areas of curriculum and instruction. She completes informal observations and provides teachers with feedback. She provides support to teachers and/or students in the following areas: Professional Development, School Leadership Team, MTSS implementation, PLCs, and is the WHHS Lead Mentor for the HCS Beginning Teacher Program. She also serves as a co-sponsor for the WHHS Beta Club. Go Eagles!
