ABOUT ME

Being an Army brat, I have lived in several places in the US.  The summer of 2012 brought me back "home" to NC, as we moved to be closer to family! 
 
My husband recently retired from the NJ National Guard (WOOHOO!). We have two children, an 12th grader (GO EAGLES!!) and a junior in college (Let's go Hokies!!).

After graduating from the University of Delaware with a History Education degree, I landed in NJ, where I taught middle and high school for over a decade.  After coming back to NC,  I taught 3rd grade at Benhaven, 6-8 ELA/AIG ELA and 6-7 SS at WHMS.  

2024 starts my 27th year of teaching and I could not be happier to be at WHHS!!
